Mike Bailey, founder of Washington DC based independent label Potomac Records, and co-founder of the new music streaming app GoMusic, was born in the nation’s Capital in 1970. Mike is currently on the road with 80’s rock icon and reality TV star, Bret Michaels, supporting the most recent release “True Grit”.Mike has been the backbone of the Bret Michaels Band since 2014, averaging 150 plus shows per year. He also performs acoustic shows with Eric Brittingham (Cinderella) and Pete Evick (Bret Michaels Band) in his side project This, That, and The Other. With shows weekly 10 months per year across the United States, Canada, South America, and the middle east, multiple NASCAR races, nationally televised performances (Fox and Friends and AXS TV), and most recently the Monsters of Rock cruise. His experience has translated over to developing 2 different industry related business models that handle worldwide digital download, streaming, and video distribution services to Potomac Records artists (est. 2011), to co-founding GoMusic in 2016, offering consumers a new experience in music streaming, sharing, and discovering new and old music.Mike is currently touring with the Super-2 Clear heads (10, 12, 14, 16 rack and floor), 22" Superkick II Clear, and 14" Hi-Energy Snare Batter heads on his Pearl Reference Pure Music City custom chrome mirror kit. When not on the road, Mike and his family reside in Ashburn, Va. Along with team Potomac Records, each help local Cancer Foundations by hosting numerous Potomac Records Rockin’ For A Cure (501c) fundraiser events around the DC metropolitan area.
