Seven Antonopoulos
Christopher "Seven" Antonopoulos is a Dallas-native drummer who holds that a drummer's first job is to be solid, sitting deep in the pocket and locked to the groove. He is one of the five "slink back" drummers, known for leaning into the kit and letting their arms carry the energy, alongside Shannon Larkin, Jamie Miller, Roy Mayorga and Morgan Rose. Seven is currently the touring drummer for Snot, and since 2014 he has been a member of Belgian metal band Channel Zero. Seven came up in the Dallas funk-metal scene with Hellafied Funk Crew, playing alongside bassist Bob Zilla. That led to several years on the road with Vanilla Ice during his heavy era, including a writing credit on the Bi-Polar album. He then spent four years with Los Angeles industrial rock band Opiate for the Masses starting in 2004, with a three-month break in 2006 to tour with Al Jourgensen's Revolting Cocks supporting Ministry. After Opiate, Seven moved to Stockholm, Sweden, which opened the door to the European metal scene. He drummed for symphonic metal band Leaves' Eyes from October 2009 through 2010 and toured with rock artist Livan in 2011. He got back on the road in the US in 2019, touring with Beasto Blanco in support of Halestorm, and moved home to Texas the following year.
